My Virgo friend Nifer is a fan of knowing. She likes to know what’s up, where she stands, what’s going on. She doesn’t like to wonder. The wondering makes her feel powerless. She thinks it’s better to know and move on than to stay in the dark about things, especially about what another person thinks of her or feels about her.

I, however, a Pisces, sometimes prefers the darkness. Once you know, then it’s like, now what? I have had so many times where knowledge killed any hope or wishful thinking. Sometimes it’s nicer to daydream and wonder than to know. I keep saying sometimes because sometimes curiosity gets the better of me, and I seek to find out because I get too optimistic. Then the knowledge pulls you in from any optimism, idealism, etc. you may have lived in, and you have to deal with reality. Knowledge is not always power.
