The above image was in PostSecret today. I thought it was very appropriate considering my post from last Sunday. Although funny enough, a lot of things in that post are no longer relevant. Things shifted (feelings, attitudes, circumstances, etc.), and so I no longer have the wish to say those things because some are not even true now. This is probably why I keep certain things to myself. I change my mind (and heart) way too easily and way too much.

Still, it would be nice to have a National Tell a Secret Day or something. Kind of like how we have Valentine’s Day as an excuse to finally tell someone you love them or take things to the next level. There should be a day where we just bring all skeletons out of the closet, just let it out, say what’s on our minds and in our hearts. If there was a whole day for that, then it would be expected, no surprises, and you couldn’t get too upset or react too badly or whatever since, well, saying it is what you’re supposed to do, so it could also be Just Listen and Take It Day. It would be a mix of Valentine’s (expressing yourself) and St. Patrick’s (I feel like a day like that requires alcohol).

Of course the following day (much like how Christmas spawned Boxing Day) would be National Awkward but Try to Act Casual Day.
