Community Blog

Pix suggested making a blog of nothing but my “Six Words” entries and having multiple authors on it. I really like the idea. Although the “Six Words” thing is from PostSecret, so I don’t know about using that or at least using just that. I would like to have a blog with multiple authors because, well, the more the merrier.

Let me know if you would be interested in being part of the blog and let me know your suggestions for some short and sweet entries. I’m thinking Six Word and/or haikus. Haikus are fun. We’ll see.

I think four to seven bloggers would be ideal.

  1. I agree. And I’m all for being a part of it. The six words actually originated with Ernest Hemingway’s supposed favorite story he ever wrote: “For Sale: Baby shoes, never worn.”

I think it’s diffuse enough to work. However, I’m down for Haikus or any other type of constrained writing you might suggest. I used to write 250 word microfiction stories that always ended in my death.

Shall I advertise it on my blog as well? I have some fairly gnarly freaders who would excel at this.

  2. Here’s a plan: Multiple categories. One day/week we can do haikus, the next we’ll do six words, the next something else. I guess it all depends on who wants to do this and what they’d be able/willing to write about.
I’m sort of in Grad school now, so once or twice a week would be about all I could post unless we choose really, really short things.

  3. I can do this! (<– That was six words or less!) <– (So was that!)

  4. Moof is all kinds of awesome. :-D!!

  5. Hi? I’m in if I’m wanted. I can probably post once a week. Any more than that and my brain might splode.

  6. ooooo this is temping….!

  7. hh.. funny
